The Bolyguard MG984G Wireless is a revolutionary cameratrap, produced by Boly Media Inc. This model features a 4G connection, and is thus even faster in sending images to your mobile phone number or e-mail address. If you choose to record the videos in high FULL HD resolution, with which the files quickly become too large to be forwarded, it is possible to use the hybrid functionality to still get a photo and see what is moving in front of the cameratrap. The wireless functionality makes this cameratrap ideal for observing remote places (e.g. bird’s nest) and for security purposes (e.g. vacation home). The Bolyguard MG984G has a unique casing compared to the standard, rectangular cameratraps. The cameratrap features a robust, camouflaged casing with a small clip on the sides, which gives access to the camera’s control panel and AA battery compartment (8 units).The 2.3 inch internal color viewer allows you to see live the view of the cameratrap and to review captured images or videos directly in the field, which makes the set-up of the cameratrap a lot easier!

All cameratraps come with a nylon strap for attaching the cameratrap to a tree or pole. However, to get started right away you need at least a set of batteries and an SDHC memory card. For this model this is a standard SDHC memory card of at least Class 10, like the Sandisk Ultra cards. Additionally, we recommend you to use the Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries (non-rechargeable), or the Panasonic Eneloop and Eneloop PRO rechargeable NiMH batteries. The advantage of the lithium batteries over the rechargeable Eneloop batteries is that the former are more resistant to winter temperatures. The disadvantage however, is that they are non-rechargeable. If you choose rechargeable batteries, think of the Japcell battery charger, in case you don’t have a good battery charger in your house!
In addition to a set of batteries and a memory card, there is a variety of other accessories available for this cameramodel.
